A Word About Kathleen

Kathleen traveled many roads to get to where you will find her today. Born in New Orleans and raised in Chicago and Cleveland, she arrived in Lexington as a teenager and went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky with a BS degree in Marketing. She also received her Massage Therapy certification in both Wisconsin and Kentucky and has worked as a licensed massage therapist for over 30 years. Blessed with a natural gift for healing, Kathleen has devoted herself to service, helping the incarcerated in both the Ohio and Wisconsin maximum security prisons as well as volunteering with the American Red Cross after 9/11 to aid the firefighters during the excavation of Ground Zero. She then went on to spend many years as the full-time caregiver for her mother, an event which taught her the incredible stress on caregivers along with the invaluable need for tenderness and self-care.

These deeply impactful experiences created a passion for simply helping people feel better, both emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Today, her greatest joy remains seeing clients walk out of her door rejuvenated and feeling brand new, providing a serene environment that not only promotes expedited healing but allows the mind to step out of time momentarily.

When relaxing and taking care of herself, you may find her in yoga or meditation classes, cycling on the Legacy Trail, or hiking in Ravens Run or Red River Gorge.
